Ivan joined New Beginnings Health Care as a Medical Assistant after graduating from Pima Medical Institute.
He has been with us since 2004. Now as our Office Manager, he is tasked with ensuring a smoothly functioning office as well as excellent patient care and satisfaction.
Jacey Cataluna
Front Office Staff
Jacey joined New Beginnings Health Care as part of the Front Office staff in October 2015. She has a 14-year background in insurance claims and underwriting, and is a seasoned business development & managerial consultant.
Jacey is originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, and has lived in San Diego since 1998. She is a lifelong learner, and is certified in Complementary & Integrative Health through San Diego State University. In her spare time, Jacey enjoys traveling, and spending time in the outdoors with her dog named Beasley.
Rita Paredes C.N., Iridologist

Rita Paredes great passion in life is assisting others to feel healthier, live healthier and to embrace the many wonderful benefits of mental and physical wellbeing. Rita is a graduate from the Naturopathic College in Encinitas CA; where she became a Certified Clinical Nutritionist.
She has worked for over 26 years in the health field helping people with a variety of Nutritional and Lifestyle Programs, to help improve their quality of life. She currently works at New Beginnings HealthCare as Manager of the Nutrition Store assisting Medical Doctors, Nurse Practitioners, Chiropractors.
Vesselina Doncheva
Medical Assistant
Vesselina is a recent graduate of University of California Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Science in Biopsychology. She is also a certified Emergency Medical Technician. Her passions lie in promoting holistic healthcare and cultivating positive patient relationships. In her current role as a medical assistant, Vesselina provides support to providers to ensure quality healthcare. In her free time, she enjoys hiking on trails with friends and traveling internationally.
Renee Rassam
Receptionist
Renee joined New Beginnings Health Care in January 2018. She graduated from MA school in 2012 and has been in the medical field for over 5 years. Putting people first is a priority for her and she loves making sure that patients are happy and healthy. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and traveling.
