About Dr. Deckert
Patricia Deckert, DO, founded New Beginnings Health Care in La Mesa, California, in 2001 so she could fulfill her dream of helping her patients achieve optimum health, not just the absence of disease or discomfort. Dr. Deckert practices integrative medicine and works closely with her patients to find the root cause of their illnesses, help them restore balance, and begin to enjoy a healthier, happier future.
After earning a bachelor of science in biological science from Michigan State in East Lansing, Michigan, Dr. Deckert went on to complete her doctor of osteopathic medicine from the Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California. Before attending medical school, Dr. Deckert worked with physicians in the field of environmental and nutritional medicine for 15 years.
Dr. Deckert is board-certified by the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians and board eligible by the American Lipid Association. She’s also a member of the MDVIP Program, which allows her to provide comprehensive annual exams and give her patients the proactive, holistic, and customized care they deserve.
